Originally from Oxford, North Carolina, P. Andrew (Andy) Sneed graduated magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Wake Forest University in 1992 with a degree in philosophy. He then earned a Master of Divinity degree magna cum laude from Duke University in 1995 and served for ten years as a United Methodist pastor in Chattanooga and Knoxville, Tennessee. In 2008, Mr. Sneed graduated cum laude from the University of Tennessee College of Law with a concentration in Business Transactions.

Mr. Sneed has been practicing with Kizer & Black, Attorneys, PLLC since 2008 in the areas of Estate Planning, Wills and Trusts, Estate Administration, Elder Law, and Business Transactions. A member of the Blount County, Knoxville, and Tennessee Bar Associations, he is licensed to practice in all Tennessee state courts and in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Tennessee.

Mr. Sneed and his wife, Susan, have been married since 1991 and have one child. Mr. Sneed is a member of The Episcopal Church of the Good Samaritan in Knoxville. An Episcopalian since 2008, in his parishes he has taught classes, worked with various ministries, been a Vestry member and served as a Junior Warden. He has also served on the board of the Adult Education Foundation for Blount County (2012-14) and is currently working with the Downtown Maryville Association’s “Maryville Main Street” program. In his spare time, he enjoys writing and performing music.
