Tis the season for Christmas, the most wonderful and joyous time of the year! A time to reflect on our many blessings each year and to share our gratitude for our clients, our colleagues and staff and the opportunity to contribute and provide legal services here in our incredible community. Thank you to all those who joined us in the ribbon cutting celebration of our new building and offices yesterday. It is our sincere desire to enhance the preservation of our beautiful community and continuously improve our legal services, keeping our clients= best interest at heart in accordance with the rules of ethical rules of our profession.
We here at Kizer and Black are ever mindful and endeavor to comply with the purpose and spirit of the Tennessee Supreme Court=s Rules of Professional Conduct. See, Tennessee Supreme Court, Rule 8. We as members of the legal profession, not only strive to represent our clients zealously within the bounds of the law, but also serve as officers of the court and legal system, having a special responsibility for the quality of justice in our community. We as lawyers perform a variety of functions including advisor, advocate, negotiator and evaluator all while maintaining the integrity of our profession and obligation to be competent, up-to-date, prompt and diligent.
